Your Agreement

This agreement is between you and Web Studio Place ("we," "us," "our"). It applies to webstudioplace.com, every website preview we produce, and every service we deliver.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Privacy Policy

We collect as little as we can, we use it only to do the work you asked for, and we never sell it. Here are the specifics.

Information you give us

• Contact and business details — your name, business name, phone number, email address, city, and anything you type into our preview request form or client intake form.
• Files you upload — logos, photographs, and other materials you send us to build your website.
• Project preferences — color choices, wording changes, and any instructions you give us.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

• Standard technical data — our host records ordinary details like browser type, device type, and pages visited, to keep the site running and secure.
• Privacy-friendly analytics — on client websites we may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sites.
• Publicly available business information — for businesses listed on Google, we may use publicly available listing details (name, address, phone, hours, rating, public reviews, and business category) to build a website preview. This is public information published by the business itself.

How we use it

• To build, deliver, host, and maintain your website
• To respond to your questions and provide support
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send service-related messages, such as your order confirmation and monthly reports
• To keep records required for ordinary business and tax purposes

We do not sell your information, rent it, or send you marketing you did not ask for.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run this business. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
• Netlify — website hosting and deployment
• Web3Forms — delivering form submissions and file uploads to our email
• Resend — sending transactional email such as order confirmations
• Google (Places / Maps) — public business listing data and map embeds
• Cloudflare — privacy-friendly website analytics
• Pexels — licensed stock photography used in some previews
• Domain registrars and email hosts — registering client domains and operating our business email

These providers process information on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary to make the site function or to complete a secure checkout.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries, project files, and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet ordinary business and tax obligations, then we remove them. Website previews that are not purchased expire automatically and are removed.

Your choices

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email team@webstudioplace.com and we will take care of it.

Text messages

We never send unsolicited text messages. We text only after you have given us permission during a conversation, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult business audience. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Security

We use encrypted connections, keep payment handling with Stripe, and limit access to client information to the people who need it. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable and current measures to protect what you share with us.

Terms of Service

What we do

Web Studio Place designs, builds, hosts, and maintains websites for local businesses. Services are described on our packages page and may change over time.

Content restrictions

To maintain consistency with our company's values and internal business policies, we reserve the right to decline or discontinue any project that, in our sole discretion, promotes, depicts, or primarily relates to religious organizations or practices, spiritism, the occult, magic, witchcraft, supernatural rituals, political campaigns or advocacy, divisive social or ideological causes, sexually explicit or adult content, nudity, pornography, content promoting alternative sexual lifestyles or fetishes, graphic violence, gore, or other content that conflicts with our ethical standards. We also reserve the right to refuse any project involving unlawful, deceptive, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material. If a project is declined for these reasons, any refund will be handled in accordance with the refund provisions of these Terms of Service.

Website previews

• A preview is a free sample built for your business. There is no cost and no obligation to look at it.
• Previews are held for a limited time — typically seven days live, followed by a further period during which the site is reserved but no longer publicly visible. After that, the preview expires and is removed.
• Until purchased, a preview and everything in it remains the property of Web Studio Place.
• Previews may include licensed stock photography for illustration. Paid websites use your own photographs or images we are licensed to provide.

Payment

• Prices are shown on our packages page. A one-time build fee is charged at checkout, and a monthly service fee keeps your site online.
• The first month of every recurring fee is waived. Monthly billing begins the following month.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
• Monthly service continues until you cancel. You may cancel at any time and service continues through the end of your paid period.
• If a monthly payment fails, we will attempt to contact you. Extended non-payment may result in the site being taken offline.

Refunds

What you provide

• You are responsible for the accuracy of all information, photographs, logos, and other materials you provide.
• You represent that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to use all content submitted to us.
• You agree not to ask us to publish content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, harmful, or otherwise prohibited under our Content Restrictions policy above.

Delivery and revisions

• Standard delivery is typically five (5) business days after we receive your completed intake form and all required content. Rush delivery is typically two (2) business days when the Rush option is purchased.
• Delivery timelines depend on receiving your requested materials promptly. Delays in providing content will extend the delivery timeline.
• Reasonable updates to text and photos are included with your monthly plan. Requests involving substantial redesigns, new pages, new functionality, or work beyond the scope of your plan may require an additional quote.

Ownership

• Your domain is yours. We register domains in the client's name. You keep it even if you leave us.
• Your content is yours. Your business information, photographs, and logo remain your property.
• Our work is ours. Our templates, layouts, code, design systems, original photography, and imagery remain the intellectual property of Web Studio Place and are licensed to you for use on your website while your account is active. They may not be copied, resold, redistributed, or reused elsewhere.

Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, scrape, mirror, reverse-engineer, or reproduce this website, our previews, our templates, our imagery, or our code, in whole or in part, for any purpose other than viewing a preview we built for you. Automated collection of content from this site is prohibited.

Hosting and availability

We aim for continuous availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Hosting, maintenance, backups, and security updates are included with your monthly plan. We are not responsible for outages caused by third-party providers, domain registrars, or events beyond our reasonable control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Web Studio Place is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business, arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We make no guarantee of specific business results, search rankings, or revenue.

Termination

You may cancel your monthly service at any time. We may suspend or end service for non-payment, or for use that violates these terms. On termination, your domain remains yours; hosting and maintenance end.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
